2000
WaPlast was established in Poland.
WaPlast was set up as a manufacturing company. Back in 2000, our country experienced shortage of specialists mastering high-precision composite molds required for commissioning of the TPA plant. Therefore, the management of Promplast decided to set up experimental production of various types of plugs in Poland. Together with WaPlast managers, the company’s management adopted stage-by-stage strategy of own production development. This had made it possible to optimize risks and apply more fundamental approach to resolution of sophisticated production issues. The Company’s tender for equipment supplies was won by Graform GmbH. Having become the owner of press molds, WaPlast placed them for processing at several Polish factories. Thus, the expertise of the European colleagues was used to work out the technology of manufacturing plastic products and obtain a clear vision of issues in modern production process, in order to tackle these issues later on in Russia.
